I just got home from work and came to the web site and was shocked to see that Sammy Jacobs had passed away. I just spoke with him a few days ago to tell him that we had finally gotten a contract signed. Sammy was very, very helpful in getting us Civil Service and helping me with advise on our fight with the city. I was on vacation with my wife and kids this summer on the Frio River when I looked across the campsite and see a truck with the license plate, "TMPASJ"  on it. Boy was I surprised to see Sammy up there, I had a great time sitting around with him and talking about everything (including work while we were supposed to be on vacation). I got to meet his son and my kids and his grand kids had a great time playing together. I am thankful for the year that I knew Sammy and will miss him and his advise tremendously. I wish I had known him longer.
