Field Training Officer (FTO)

Price: $75 This 24-hour course will provide FTOs with the skills necessary to prepare a trainee or recruit to make a successful transition from the classroom environment to the field. Students will need to bring: at least 3 copies of agency's daily observation reports (or a laptop computer with the evaluation program installed if observation reports are completed electronically), and note-taking materials. Topics include: - Training methodology and teaching techniques - Counseling - Evaluation process - Documentation Seating is limited, so please register early!
