Kevin Lawrence
Executive Director

Kevin Lawrence has been a part of TMPA’s leadership for nearly 30 years, and served as a law enforcement officer for more than 20 years. His focus areas during his time on the force were child abuse/family violence and juvenile law. He acted as a Patrol Officer, Detective, DARE Officer, and Sergeant. Kevin holds a Master Peace Officer Certification and a TCOLE Instructor’s License.

Mitch Landry
Deputy Executive Director of Government Affairs

Mitch has been a part of TMPA’s leadership for almost 15 years, and also served as a law enforcement officer for 20 years. He has acted as a Patrol, Criminal Investigations, and Narcotics Officer. Mitch holds a BA from Angelo State University. He enjoys working in government affairs because he believes it is an honor to work with members on issues that affect them on a daily basis.

Mitch Slaymaker
Deputy Executive Director of Operations

Mitch has been a part of TMPA’s leadership for over a decade, and served as a law enforcement officer for nearly 20 years. He has acted as a Sergeant, member of the SWAT team, DARE instructor, and FTO. Mitch is a graduate of Sir Sandford Fleming College with a law and security administration degree majoring in police education. He is happy to lend his expertise to media inquiries.
