January – 2021
We would like to share some of the recent legal successes TMPA has had for our members. In this report, we will give the names of the attorneys who represented our members but omit the names of the members involved.
Paul G. Aman – Paul G. Aman, Attorney at Law, P.C.
- Member was placed under IA for speaking disparagingly. After review, member was exonerated from any wrongdoing.
- Member was involved in an on-duty shooting where the suspect was shot. After review, the member was no billed by the Grand Jury and the case was closed.
- Member was placed under IA for failing to report sexual harassment. After review, the member was exonerated and the case was closed.
Gregory Cagle – Gregory Cagle, Atty at Law, P.C.
- Member was placed under IA for conduct unbecoming. After review, all charges were dismissed and the case was closed.
Randall D. Moore – Law Offices of Randall D. Moore, PLLC
- Member was placed under IA for conducting personal business on duty. After review, the member was exonerated and the case was closed.
Eric Perkins – Law Office of Eric Perkins
- Member was placed under IA for sleeping on duty. Upon review, allegations were dropped and no disciplinary actions were taken.
John Snider – Lyon, Gorsky, Gilbert, LLP
- Member was placed under IA for use of force. After review, the member was cleared and the case was closed.
- Member was given a General discharge on F5. Upon appeal, F5 was amended to reflect an Honorable discharge and the case was closed.
Ray Thomas – Ray Thomas, Atty at Law
- Member was placed under IA for complaint made by an inmate. Upon review, the IA was disposed as unfounded with possible charges being brought against the inmate for false report. The case was closed.
