TMPA Wins!
June – 2022

We would like to share some of the recent legal successes TMPA has had for our members. In this report, we will give the names of the attorneys who represented our members but omit the names of the members involved.

Paul G. Aman – Paul G. Aman, Attorney at Law, P.C.
• Member was given a general discharge on F5. After appeal, the Administrative Law Judge ordered the F5 be amended to reflect an honorable discharge and the case was closed.

Randall Moore – Law Offices of Randall D. Moore, PLLC
• Member was placed under IA for working two jobs at once. Upon review, the charges were unfounded, and the case was closed.
• Member was placed under IA and given an 80-hour suspension for failure to supervise. After appeal, charges were reduced to violating consent policy, the 80-hour suspension was reduced to written counseling, and the case was closed.
• Member was involved with an in-custody death. Upon review, no charges were brought against member, and the case was closed.
• Member was placed under IA for use of force. Upon review, member was cleared on all charges, and the case was closed.
• Member was given a general discharge on F5. After appeal, the Administrative Law Judge ordered the F5 be amended to reflect an honorable discharge and the case was closed.

Ray Thomas – Attorney at Law
• Member was placed under IA and removed from supervisory role for hostile work environment. Upon review, member was reinstated to supervisory capacity, and the case was closed.
• Member was placed under IA for disrespect. Upon review, the IA was closed with no discipline, and the case was closed.
