TMPA Wins!
June – 2021



We would like to share some of the recent legal successes TMPA has had for our members. In this report, we will give the names of the attorneys who represented our members but omit the names of the members involved.

Paul G. Aman – Paul G. Aman, Attorney at Law, P.C.
• Member was placed under IA for a use of force complaint. Upon review, the complaint was unfounded, and the case was closed.
• Member was placed under IA for unprofessional conduct. Upon review, the complaint was unfounded, and the case was closed.
• Member was placed under IA for conduct unbecoming. Upon review, the member was exonerated, and the case was closed.
• Member was placed under IA for damaging a vehicle during a search. Upon review, the member was exonerated, and the case was closed.
• Members were placed under IA and criminal investigation for excessive force. Upon review, the members were no billed by the grand jury and the case was closed.
• Member was placed under IA for excessive use of force. Upon review, the complaint was unfounded, the member was no billed by the grand jury, and the case was closed.

Kenneth Biggs – Biggs & Greenslade, P.C.
• Member was placed under IA for citizen complaint. Upon review, the complaint was unfounded, member received no discipline, and the case was closed.

Zach Horn – Lyon, Gorsky, Gilbert, LLP
• Members were involved in an in-custody death. Upon review, the members were no billed by the grand jury, and the case was closed.

Randall D. Moore – Law Offices of Randall D. Moore, PLLC
• Member received a written reprimand for not fully investigating a possible crime on a call. Upon review, the written reprimand was reduced to verbal counseling, and the case was closed.

Eric Perkins – Law Office of Eric Perkins
• Member was criminally charged for official oppression for a use of force incident. After going to trial, the jury found the member not guilty, and the case was closed.

Andy Stinson – Ramey & Flock, P.C.
• Member was placed under IA for injury to a child. Upon review, the member was no billed by the grand jury, and the case was closed.
• Member was terminated for an off-duty incident. Upon appeal, member was reinstated, disciplinary action was withdrawn, and the case was closed.

Ray Thomas – Ray Thomas, Attorney at Law
• Member was placed under IA for excessive use of force. Upon review, the complaint was unfounded, the member was cleared with no discipline, and the case was closed.

Travis Williamson – Law Office of Travis Williamson
• Member was involved in an on-duty shooting. Upon review, the member was no billed by the grand jury, and the case was closed.
