TMPA Wins!
June – 2022


We would like to share some of the recent legal successes TMPA has had for our members. In this report, we will give the names of the attorneys who represented our members but omit the names of the members involved.

Paul G. Aman – Paul G. Aman, Attorney at Law, P.C.
• Member was placed under IA for dereliction of duty. Upon review, the complaint was not sustained, and the case was closed.
• Member was placed under IA for a call for service investigation. Upon review, member was exonerated, and the case was closed.
• Member was placed under IA for procedure on a DWI call. Upon review, the complaint was unfounded, and the case was closed.
• Member was given a general discharge on F5. Upon appeal, the Administrative Law Judge ordered the F5 be amended to reflect an honorable discharge and the case was closed.
• Member was placed under IA for a use of force incident. Upon review, the complaint was unfounded, and the case was closed.

Greg Cagle – Gregory Cagle, Attorney at Law, P.C.
• Member was placed under IA and terminated for excessive use of force. After appeal, the indefinite suspension was reversed, and the case was closed.

Butch Dunbar – Dunbar & Morgan, LLP
• Member was placed under IA for a conduct issue. Upon review, the complaint was dismissed, and the case was closed.

Chad Hyde – Gregory A. Richards, P.C.
• Member was involved in an on-duty shooting. Upon review, member was no billed by the grand jury, and the case was closed.

Randall Moore – Law Offices of Randall D. Moore, PLLC
• Member was given a dishonorable discharge on F5. Member passed away, but the appeal hearing continued with the Administrative Law Judge ordering the F5 be amended to reflect an honorable discharge. Member’s name was cleared, and the case was closed.
• Member was given a dishonorable discharge on F5. Upon appeal, the Administrative Law Judge ordered the F5 be amended to reflect an honorable discharge and the case was closed.
• Member was placed under IA, criminally charged, and terminated for domestic violence. Upon review, the criminal charges were not taken by the district attorney, the administrative charges were not sustained, the termination was reversed with member returning to work, and the case was closed.
• Member was placed under IA for rude and discourteous conduct. Upon review, the IA was dismissed, and the case was closed.

Eric Perkins – Law Office of Eric Perkins
• Member was criminally charged and indicted for official oppression. After going to trial, the jury found member not guilty, and the case was closed.

Andy Stinson – Ramey & Flock, P.C.
• Member was placed under IA for failing to check on a fellow officer. Upon review, the allegations were not sustained, and the case was closed.

Travis Williamson – Law Office of Travis Williamson
• Member was involved in an on-duty shooting. Upon review, member was no billed by the grand jury, and the case was closed.
• Member was involved in an on-duty shooting. Upon review, member was no billed by the grand jury, cleared administratively, and the case was closed.
