TMPA Wins!
November – 2021


We would like to share some of the recent legal successes TMPA has had for our members. In this report, we will give the names of the attorneys who represented our members but omit the names of the members involved.

Paul G. Aman – Paul G. Aman, Attorney at Law, P.C.
• Member was placed under IA and terminated for failure to act and disseminating confidential information. After appeal, member’s termination was reduced to a 15-day suspension, 180 days of probation, and the case was closed.
 
Randall D. Moore – Law Offices of Randall D. Moore, PLLC
• Member was placed under IA and given a written reprimand for dereliction of duty. After appeal, the written reprimand was reduced to verbal counseling for judgement and the case was closed. 
• Member was placed under IA and terminated for job performance. After appeal, the termination was changed to voluntary resignation, member was given some back pay and other benefits.
• Member was placed under IA and terminated for family violence. Upon review, the charges were dropped, and member was reinstated.
• Member was involved in the shooting of a dog. Upon review, member was exonerated on the use of force complaint and the case was closed.
• Member was terminated and given a dishonorable discharge on F5. After appeal, the F5 was amended to general discharge and the untruthfulness allegation was eliminated.
• Member was involved in a civil suit for a fleet accident. Upon review, member was nonsuited with prejudice and the case was closed.

John T. Wolf – Wolf & Stallings, PLLC
• Member received a letter of reprimand. After appeal, the letter of reprimand was reduced to documented counseling, and the case was closed.
• Member was criminally charged for an accidental, off-duty discharge of firearm. Upon review, the case was not charged and was closed.
• Member was involved in a shooting. Upon review, member received a declination letter from the DA and the case was closed.
