Sudden Infant Death Investigations

FREE 16 TCOLE COURSE: This 2-day class is designed to highlight the importance of the Sudden Unexpected Infant Death (SUID) Investigation form and Doll Reenactment. After attending this class, students will be able to: 1) properly use these tools to assist the forensic pathologists in determining the cause and manner of the infant deaths; and 2) understand the significance of their investigation for fatality review teams, CDC, NCFRP, and other partners in preventing infant sleep-related fatality. Presented by: Dr. Savannah Lusk and Chief Investigator Danny Brewster. Savannah is a Postdoctoral Fellow at Baylor College of Medicine with 10 years research experience in the SUID field. Danny is currently the Chief Investigator at the Fort Bend County Medical Examiner’s Office and has a combined 20 years of Law Enforcement and death investigation experience

Once logged in select "Courses", "TMPA", and you will see a list of current classes scheduled.  Locate the class you are wanting to attend and select “Click Here to Register”.

Once clicked you will see a screen that states the course is "In Progress" indicating you are registered and has not started yet as it is an in-person course.

The system will send an email to the email address used to create the account (check junk folder) to confirm your registration and provide course details.
