Using UAVs And Pix4D In Collision Investigation
Topics include:
-General Part 107 Regulations and Requirements
-Overview of most current commercially available UVAs
-Flying scenes using Pix4D capture application and manual flying scenes
-Using the Pix4D program to create point clouds and orthomosaic images
-Combining multiple projects
-Creating/Using manual tie points
-Exporting point clouds in usable formats
-Merging photographs (Adobe Lightroom/Photoshop)
-Creating diagrams using the polyline tool, exported as a 3D DXF file
-Understanding advantages and disadvantages of; Grid, Double Grid, Polygon, Circle, and Free Flight missions in the Pix4D Capture Application.
- UAVs will be provided for training. Attendees may bring their personal UAV if properly FAA registered and insured for use during the class.
-Attendees are required to have a computer capable of running the latest version of Pix4D.
