TMPA Wins!
April – 2022


We would like to share some of the recent legal successes TMPA has had for our members. In this report, we will give the names of the attorneys who represented our members but omit the names of the members involved.

Paul G. Aman – Paul G. Aman, Attorney at Law, P.C.
• Member was given a one-day suspension for failure to do job. After appeal, the suspension was overturned in all things and the client was made whole. The case was closed.
• Member was involved in an on-duty shooting. Upon review, member was no-billed by the grand jury and the case was closed.
• Member was given a dishonorable discharge on F5. Upon appeal, the Administrative Law Judge ordered the F5 be amended to reflect an honorable discharge and the case was closed.
• Member was placed under IA for excessive use of force. Upon review, the charges were unfounded, and the case was closed.
• Member was placed under IA and given a 10-day suspension for spreading rumors. After appeal, the 10-day suspension was reduced to 5-days, member was given backpay for 5 days, and the case was closed.
 
Kenneth Biggs – Biggs & Greenslade, P.C.
• Member was the subject of a criminal complaint filed by someone previously arrested. Upon review, the grand jury returned a no-bill, and the case was closed.

Amanda Bolin – Bolin Law Firm, PLLC
• Member was sent to grand jury for perjury. Upon review, member was no-billed by the grand jury and the case was closed.

Randall Moore – Law Offices of Randall D. Moore, PLLC
• Member was placed under IA and given a 5-day suspension for circulating a scandalous story, untruthfulness, and leaking confidential information. After appeal, the 5-day suspension was reduced to 3-days, the scandalous story and untruthfulness charges were unfounded, and the case was closed.
• Member was placed under IA for official oppression. Upon review, member was exonerated, and the case was closed.
• Member was placed under IA for mistreatment of a subordinate. Upon review, member was cleared of sexual discrimination and the case was closed.
• Member was written up for dereliction of duty. After appeal, the dereliction of duty charge was upheld, but the write-up was reduced to counseling and the case was closed.

Adam Muery – Muery & Farrel, PC
• Member was placed under IA for negligent discharge. Upon review, the findings were not sustained, no punishment was issued, and the case was closed.

John Wolf – Wolf & Stallings, PLLC
• Member was placed under IA and given a dishonorable discharge for assault family violence. After appeal, the F5 was amended to general, and the case was closed.
