TMPA Wins!
August – 2022

We would like to share some of the recent legal successes TMPA has had for our members. In this report, we will give the names of the attorneys who represented our members but omit the names of the members involved.

Paul G. Aman – Paul G. Aman, Attorney at Law, P.C.

• Member was given a general discharge on F5. After appeal, the Administrative Law Judge ordered the F5 be amended to reflect an honorable discharge and the case was closed.

Kenneth Biggs – Biggs & Greenslade, P.C.
• Member was given a general discharge on F5. After appeal, the member’s F5 was amended to reflect an honorable discharge and the case was closed.

Randall Moore – Law Offices of Randall D. Moore, PLLC
• Member was placed under IA and received a 20-day suspension for use of force. After appeal, the 20-day suspension was reduced to 5 days, and the case was closed.
• Member was placed under IA for dereliction of duty. Upon review, the charges were not sustained, and the case was closed.
• Member was placed under IA for an incident on a school bus involving a person under the age of 17. Upon review, it was determined that no policy or state law was offended. The case was closed with no action being taken.

Eric Perkins – Law Office of Eric Perkins

• Member responded to a disturbance call involving an armed suspect and deadly force had to be used. Upon review, the grand jury returned a no bill of indictment, and the case was closed.

Travis Williamson – Law Office of Travis Williamson and Robert Rogers – Lyon, Gorsky & Gilbert, L.L.P.
• Member was involved in an on-duty shooting and indicted for murder. After going to trial, the jury found member not guilty on murder and aggravated assault by peace officer.
