TMPA Wins!
November – 2020


We would like to share some of the recent legal successes TMPA has had for our members. In this report, we will give the names of the attorneys who represented our members but omit the names of the members involved.

Paul G. Aman – Paul G. Aman, Attorney at Law, P.C.

  • Member was placed under IA for conduct unbecoming. After review, the complaint was unfounded and case was closed.


  • Member was placed under IA for conduct and taser policy violation. After review, member was exonerated and case was closed.

Gregory Cagle – Gregory Cagle, Atty at Law, P.C.

  • Members were involved in an on-duty shooting. After review, members were no billed and case was closed.

  • Member was placed under IA, terminated and given a Dishonorable discharge on F5 for conduct unbecoming an officer. Upon appeal, member’s F5 was amended to reflect an Honorable discharge and case was closed.

  • Member was given a General discharge on F-5. Upon appeal, a SOAH judge ordered F5 be amended to reflect an Honorable Discharge


  • Members were involved in an on-duty shooting. After review, the Grand Jury no billed members and case was closed.


  • Member was placed on administrative leave and ultimately given a General discharge on F5 for conduct unbecoming an officer. Upon appeal, member’s F5 was amended to reflect an Honorable discharge and case was closed.


  • Member was given a Dishonorable discharge on F5. Upon appeal, F5 was amended to reflect a General discharge and case was closed.


  • Member was given a General discharge on F5. Upon appeal, F5 was amended to reflect an Honorable discharge and case was closed.


  • Member was involved in an on-duty shooting. After review, member was no billed and case was closed.


  • Member was involved in a civil suit for violation of civil rights related to excessive force. A Motion to Dismiss based on Qualified Immunity was granted and case was dismissed.


Robert “Bobby” Garcia – Law Office of Roberto M. Garcia

  • Member was indefinitely suspended and given a Dishonorable discharge on F5 for failing to appear in court. Upon appeal, member’s F5 was amended to reflect an Honorable discharge and case was closed.


Randall D. Moore – Law Offices of Randall D. Moore, PLLC

  • Member was under criminal investigation for use of force. Upon review, member was no billed and case was closed.
