TMPA Wins!
October – 2022

We would like to share some of the recent legal successes TMPA has had for our members. In this report, we will give the names of the attorneys who represented our members but omit the names of the members involved.

Paul G. Aman – Paul G. Aman, Attorney at Law, P.C.
• Member was placed under IA for several policy violations. Upon review, member was exonerated.
• Member was placed under IA for investigative procedure. Upon review, the complaint was not sustained.
• Member was placed under IA for harassment and improper use of license plate computer system. Upon review, the charges were unfounded.
• Member was placed under IA for body camera violations. Upon review, the charges were unfounded.
• Member was placed under IA for improper police procedures. Upon review, the complaint was dismissed.
• Member was placed under IA for discrimination and hostile work environment. Upon review, the member was exonerated.


Greg Cagle – Gregory Cagle, Attorney at Law, P.C.
• Member was involved in an on-duty shooting. Upon review, member was no billed by the grand jury, and the case was closed.
• Member was criminally charged with aggravated assault from an officer involved shooting. After going to trial, member was found not guilty, and the case was closed.

Bob Gill – Gill and Brissette
• Member filed suit to appeal a conviction and five-year sentence for aggravated perjury, based on a statement made during a grand jury proceeding. After appeal, the court of appeals reversed the trial court’s judgement and remanded the case for a new trial.

Randall Moore – Law Offices of Randall D. Moore, PLLC
• Member was involved in an in-custody death. Upon review, no charges were brought against member and the case was closed.
• Member was given a general discharge on F5. After appeal, member’s F5 was amended to reflect an honorable discharge.
• Member was placed under IA for timesheet discrepancies and untruthfulness. Upon review, the charges were unfounded.

Robert Rogers – Lyon, Gorsky, Gilbert, LLP
• Member was criminally charged with murder from an officer involved shooting incident. After going to trial, the jury found the member not guilty.

Andy Stinson – Ramey & Flock, PC
• Member was placed under IA and put on administrative leave for having prohibited items in the jail. Upon review, member was cleared of any wrongdoing.

John Wolf – Wolf & Stallings, PLLC
• Member was placed under IA for entering a building during a security check. Upon review, the case was dropped by IA.
