Greetings members:
If you pay your TMPA membership dues via ACH bank draft, you may have noticed that
TMPA dues for this month were drafted to an account named “collections”. TMPA
recently switched banks and the name of the account you see on your statement
changed.
Please rest assured that the
amount drafted out of your account has been applied to your regular monthly
dues, your account is not in collections. We are in communication with the bank
in hopes that we can rename the account to not cause any further confusion moving forward.
If you
put a stop payment on your account: Banks have a short turn-around time frame (five days) to
reverse the stop payment. You will need to contact your individual bank for
further information to see if this is a possible option. TMPA will be unable to
draft your account for your dues if the stop payment is not reversed by your
bank’s deadline. Please contact our
office to provide an alternate method of payment for this month. You will also
need to reach out to your bank and authorize TMPA the ability to draft your
account so that we can draft your account in the future.
If you
have not made any changes or stopped payment on your bank account: no further action is needed on your
end. If you have any questions regarding your account, please give us a call or
send us an email ([email protected]). We would love to be of service.
Thank you
for your membership!
